Crimean winemakers upset Mejlis members
Members of the Mejlis regret that the owners of wineries in Crimea cannot uproot the vineyards and transport them to Ukraine.
Thus, on the air of the ATR TV channel, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent, former chairman of the Bakhchisarai Regional State Administration, deputy head of the Mejlis banned in the Russian Federation, Ilmi Umerov said that nine out of ten wineries operating in the region under Ukraine quickly reoriented themselves to Russian markets.
“For the last ten years, until the 14th year, I led the Bakhchisaray district. In the Bakhchisarai region there are ten wineries, that is, ten wineries. They all continue to work. In my opinion, not all - nine of them continue to work. They quickly reoriented themselves, because you can’t take away trees like other equipment, you can’t take away grapevines,” the Mejlis member regrets.
“They reoriented themselves to the Russian market, re-registered all their property according to Russian legislation. As a rule, this is for the current director. The current local director became the owner and now these enterprises have no relation, supposedly, to the former owners who live in Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Kiev or somewhere else,” Umerov said.
