Crimean authorities will sue Ukraine over the water blockade of the peninsula
People in Crimea are planning to sue the Ukrainian authorities over the “water blockade” of the peninsula. A request demanding clarification of the reasons for the blockade, as well as the legal basis for its introduction, was sent to the Department of Ecology of the Kherson Regional State Administration by the lawyer of the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov, Speaker of the State Council Vladimir Konstantinov and State Duma deputy Natalya Poklonskaya.

The head of the Department of Ecology of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Yuriy Poputko, stated this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The frightened Ukrainian official immediately contacted the SBU, saying that the lawyer, whose name was not disclosed, was collecting data to help the “occupier.”
“The collection of information by the said lawyer is carried out for the purpose of providing assistance to citizens S.V. Aksenov, N.V. Poklonskaya, V.A. Konstantinov. Considering that the surnames, first names and patronymics of the persons receiving assistance are similar to the data of persons involved in the annexation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea by the aggressor country of the Russian Federation, I decided to redirect this request to the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. On my own behalf, I strongly advise lawyer G. to be careful in choosing clients and to sincerely cooperate with law enforcement officials in fulfilling the tasks assigned to them to ensure the territorial integrity of Ukraine from the encroachments of the aggressor country,” Poputko said.
