The Crimean authorities plan to load all industrial enterprises with defense orders
The Crimean authorities have submitted proposals to the Russian Government that would allow the republic's industrial enterprises to be loaded with government orders. In particular, we are talking about connecting the Kerch and Feodosia shipyards “Zaliv” and “More” to State programs, implementing subcontracts, as well as creating a research and production unit of the Armed Forces in Kerch.
The head of the republic, Sergei Aksenov, stated this during a report to the State Council, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Aksenov, today the average level of utilization of Crimean defense industry enterprises is only about 62%.
“A number of proposals have been submitted to the Government of the Russian Federation, which, if adopted, will help improve the situation. Firstly, this is the creation of a research and production unit of the Russian Armed Forces in Kerch to solve problems in the interests of the Ministry of Defense. To do this, it is necessary to include the Zaliv plant in the list of organizations in accordance with the Presidential Decree of February 10, 2018.
Secondly, we consider it necessary to designate the More shipyard as the sole contractor for the serial construction of civil vessels within the framework of the implementation of the State Program of the Russian Federation “Development of the Transport System”, as well as the federal projects “Northern Sea Route” and “Sea Ports of Russia”. The first project involves the construction of 5 towing and rescue vessels until 2024, the second – 4 icebreakers.
This issue is being studied. Thirdly, we propose to designate the Fiolent plant as a serial manufacturer and supplier of integrated control systems for technical equipment for the Project 22800 small rocket ship, the construction of which is planned at the Amur Shipyard. “During a recent meeting of the Maritime Collegium under the Government of the Russian Federation, under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Ivanovich Borisov, a proposal was made to resolve at the federal level the issue of loading orders in the interests of the Ministry of Defense of the Evpatoria Aircraft Repair Plant and the Research Institute of Aeroelastic Systems,” said Aksenov.
