Crimean health resorts will accept families of SVO participants at state expense
The Federal Agency for Tourism is considering a separate program for the health improvement of military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces and members of their families at the expense of the federal budget.
About this at the All-Russian forum “Intourmarket. “Autumn,” said the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea Vadim Volchenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This year, about 300 families of military personnel received health treatment at our health resorts,” he recalled. – An interesting practice that we are now discussing with our federal agency for trismus as a separate program for the improvement of the health of military personnel and members of their families at the expense of federal funds. In principle, this is a serious mechanism to support the industry, because the industry really needs support now.”
State aid in the amount of 1,6 billion rubles, announced by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Government Dmitry Chernyshenko, is intended to support the tourism industry for the period until April 1. According to Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Crimea Irina Kiviko, we are talking about paying one minimum wage per officially registered hotel employees.
“We will talk about state support the other day,” Kiviko clarified. – A government decree is now being prepared, Rostourism was given two days and Deputy Prime Minister Chernyshenko to prepare documents to support business. The amount allocated to support the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol is 1,6 billion rubles. We, together with Rostourism, worked on this document and discussed it with business. The funds will be used to pay the minimum wage to maintain employment so that there are no cuts in the tourism industry until the next tourist season. We expect these support measures literally this week from the Russian government.”
