Crimean journalists learned how border crossings outside Perekop work
Crimean journalists traveled to Ukrainian territory beyond Perekop.
A video of the trip was posted by the Kryminform agency, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
All three checkpoints on the Russian-Ukrainian border are operating normally, the pass is valid for entry and exit. Passenger traffic is not large.
There are border checkpoints Armyansk and Dzhankoy, as well as a bilateral checkpoint Perekop. Border and customs control works here. On the Ukrainian side, border checkpoints are open, there is no strict control.
As the FSB border department explained, citizens of Ukraine can arrive in Crimea and ask for temporary asylum. This procedure is provided for by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 635R. Another option is to apply for refugee status.
