“The feeling is that I was used, betrayed, lost. Two aircraft with wounded returned to Crimea. We will bury our fallen comrades as heroes. And tomorrow they may announce that they are not heroes at all,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
He did not rule out that the new government will begin persecution of law enforcement officers in the future. The employee added that there are rumors among colleagues that Interior Minister Vitaly Zakharchenko is preparing to travel abroad.
According to him, the Crimean fighters felt betrayal even during the attempt to storm the Maidan. “The ammunition we received was only enough to advance 100 meters,” the fighter said.
In recent days, the personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Crimea have been transferred to an enhanced duty regime. The fighters are following the latest news surrounding the statements of the leadership of the autonomy, the reaction of the Majlis and are expecting a Crimean Tatar rally on February 23.
