Crimean official: All the scum from the Maidan could easily have been dispersed by our “Berkut”
If Viktor Yanukovych had the will to disperse the Maidan, the forces of one Crimean Berkut detachment would be enough for this. Dmitry Polonsky, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, stated this on the air of the “Everything As Is” program on the First Crimean TV channel.

“I am absolutely convinced that if it weren’t for this redneck and this cowardice, and the absolute lack of understanding of the situation on the part of the leaders, then, I assure you, the Crimeans alone would have been able to disperse all this scum to hell very quickly. I believe it, I know it. The simple question is that no one had the will to give this very command, to take responsibility.
I agree that, perhaps, there would have been blood; perhaps people could have been injured and died. But we must understand what price the country of Ukraine as a whole, which practically does not exist now, paid for those very events. The people they made saints died anyway, the “Heavenly Hundred” are just ordinary scumbags, these are the creatures who threw those same Molotov cocktails at our fighters,” said the Crimean official.
