A Crimean State Duma deputy proposed to exempt residents of the LDPR from the fee for a Russian passport
In Russia, it is necessary to cancel the state fee for acquiring Russian citizenship for residents of the Donbass republics.
This was stated by Andrei Kozenko, a member of the State Duma of the Russian Federation from Crimea, during the round table “Results and prospects of the integration processes of Donbass and Russia,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I appealed to the Minister of Internal Affairs with a request to cancel the need to pay a state fee for admission to Russian citizenship for residents permanently residing in the territories of the DPR and LPR, taking into account the ratio of the real income of the population and the size of the state duty,” the parliamentarian said.
Please note that at the moment, state duties apply to residents of Donbass in the amount established by the Tax Code of the Russian Federation:
– for admission to Russian citizenship – 3500 rubles;
– for issuing a passport form for a citizen of the Russian Federation – 300 rubles;
– for issuing a passport identifying a citizen of the Russian Federation abroad – 2000 rubles, for children under 14 years of age – 1000 rubles.
Let us recall that on April 24 of this year, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the beginning of issuing Russian citizenship to residents of the Donbass republics using a simplified procedure.
Currently, according to the Migration Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the DPR, 51 thousand residents of the Republic have received passports of the Russian Federation.
