A Crimean deputy escaped from pursuit while trying to withdraw money from a bank in Ukraine
Ukrainian security forces failed to detain a Crimean deputy who was trying to withdraw money from a Ukrainian bank in Odessa.
Vasily Sinchuk, head of the Ukrainian prosecutor’s office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, spoke about this on the “Social Country” TV channel.

“There is one deputy of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea on the wanted list. We receive information that he must withdraw money from a bank in Ukraine. We managed to react to this. They showed us documents in the bank... Unfortunately, we didn’t find it, although we sent a group there,” the prosecutor said.
According to him, a deputy from Crimea tried to get money from a bank on the basis of a forced migrant’s certificate, which he received in one of the village councils of the Odessa region.
“They didn’t find him, but the head of this village council, he confirmed that he prepared the certificate, we will bring him to criminal responsibility for issuing a fictitious document,” said Sinchuk, adding that the head of the village was obliged to check whether the citizen receiving certificate
