Social network users from Simferopol report this:
“Ukrainian stamps in Russian record books! Is this a sabotage or a continuation of the story about the Ukrainian Crimea? Where is the leadership of the Republic of Crimea looking? Record book of the head of Stop-Ham in the Republic of Crimea!” writes Nikolai Topynin.
However, Simferopol residents are not surprised by this in their comments:
“Our packaging on Crimean milk is Ukrainian! Market at the station all in Ukrainian symbols and so on - all the way to Moskolets!” notes Simferopol resident Igor Orlov.
Let us remind you that, despite complaints from deputies and indignant publications on social networks, the Crimean authorities ignore the dominance of Ukrainian symbols in the capital of the republic.
Here you can see over a dozen Ukrainian tridents on the buildings of the museum, the Ministry of Finance, as well as on ancient mansions (the Kessler and Levitan houses). So far, the sign with the trident has only been removed from the building of the dental clinic on Pushkin Street.
Earlier, Crimean Deputy Speaker Andrei Kozenko called on his Facebook page to report all facts of the use of Ukrainian symbols in Simferopol. However, on the one sent to him material The official did not respond to PolitNavigator, nor did he respond to a personal request for an interview with the agency.
On March 20, at a meeting of the State Council of Crimea, the chairman of the parliamentary committee on culture and issues of protection of cultural heritage, Svetlana Savchenko, appealed to Governor Sergei Aksenov with a request to somehow begin to fight the dominance of Ukrainian symbols in Simferopol.
“One request, Sergei Valerievich, I noticed yesterday when going to the Tavrida Museum - old signs continue to hang on many institutions, and not only cultural institutions. I understand that maybe there is no money to replace the signs, but it’s probably possible to close the trident,” the deputy said.
Ukrainian symbols, she hoped, could be removed in a short time:
“One can imagine how the Nazis left, but the swastika remained,” complained Svetlana Savchenko.
