The Crimean Bridge will open ahead of schedule

Car traffic on the Crimean Bridge across the Kerch Strait will begin in a few months, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced this today.
“In just a few months, automobile traffic will open on the Crimean Bridge. And next year there will be a railway connection. This will give impetus to the development of Crimea and the entire Russian Black Sea region,” Putin said.
It was previously assumed that traffic on the Crimean Bridge would open in December 2018.
