The leader of the “Sevastopol-Crimea-Russia” movement, Valery Podyachiy, is surprised that NATO is suddenly concerned about the state of human rights in Crimea.

“This is after the barbaric bombing of Yugoslavia, the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq, aggression in Libya, mass torture in Guantanamo Bay prison, etc.?! I’m not sure that such a “human rights” experience of the alliance will be useful to the Crimeans and Sevastopol residents,” Podyachiy said.
In his opinion, massive cases of human rights violations took place in Crimea during the “Ukrainian period.” “Today there is political stability and interethnic harmony on the peninsula. There is no such national oppression as under Ukraine, when the civil, political and humanitarian rights of the residents of Crimea and Sevastopol were constantly infringed. Ukraine created obstacles for us to use our native language, tried to distort the glorious history of the legendary peninsula, and subjected the Crimeans and Sevastopol residents who protested against it to political persecution and repression,” Podyachiy said.
