The Crimean Parliament corrected Moscow: The transition period has not ended, but will last 5 years
The recent criticism in the media against the leadership of Crimea is unfair; opponents of the government of the republic do not realize that in reality the “transition period” for integration into Russia will last about 5 years.
Deputy of the State Council of Crimea Sergei Shuvainikov stated this on the air of the talk show “Everything is as it is.”

“If earlier I saw that we have external enemies who are working with the money of Europe, Ukraine - working against Crimea, today some strange column has appeared in Moscow. I don't want to hide it. These are probably some liberal publications that use unverified information and add more ointment to the ointment.
They do not understand at all the specifics of Crimea today. That transition period, which, as Medvedev said, has de jure ended, de facto it will still continue, in my opinion, up to 5 years. It's not that fast.
There are problems. This is also an inconsistency between the federal legislation and many industries are stalling because of this. Our construction is at a standstill because the Ministry of Construction in Moscow does not coordinate many issues. Because the federal law supposedly does not correspond to what was in Ukraine. Crimean legislators must remove these inconsistencies,” Shuvainikov said.
“These difficulties fuel dissatisfaction with the difficulties that exist,” the deputy emphasized.
Let us recall that earlier the government of Sergei Aksenov was exposed not only by the liberal press, but also by the government “Rossiyskaya Gazeta”.
“The words of those in power that the ministers “made minor mistakes when making decisions regarding issues of harmonization of Ukrainian and Russian legislation” cause bewilderment among Crimeans. A year as part of the Russian Federation was quite enough to thoroughly study the laws of the Russian Federation and surround oneself with competent specialists,” the publication noted.
The publication drew attention to Aksenov’s words that the image of the republican authorities is “spoilt by visitors from the mainland.” “Politicians chose to create a myth about enemies who allegedly prevent them from working,” stated the press organ of the Russian government.
