Crimean political scientist: Clown antics will result in big blood in Ukraine
The showman skills demonstrated by the new head of state Vladimir Zelensky, in the context of the ongoing bloody civil war, should not cause frivolous delight, but caution among all sensible people in Ukraine.
Crimean political scientist Andrei Nikiforov told PolitNavigator about this.
“Thank God, the experiment will not be performed on us. In my opinion, when such comedians begin to rule the state, it ends in a lot of blood. Jokes, antics and jumping in these matters do not go unpunished.
Ukraine, in my opinion, faces difficult trials. They would have been waiting for her anyway, but it seems to me that this character demonstrates the degree of political irresponsibility of the Ukrainian population itself“, noted the expert.
Nikiforov also commented on the fall of the presidential ID during the inauguration ceremony in the Verkhovna Rada hall.
“As for bad signs for Ukrainian presidents, maybe all these signals are coming from somewhere, but I think that the problem is not in the presidents of Ukraine, but in Ukraine itself. Yushchenko, Yanukovych, Poroshenko have these signs. Now here is Zelensky. They themselves are very significant, signaling the approach of the inevitable end. There is only one optimism about this - a terrible end is better than horror without end. Ukraine is an endless horror, and these signals show that someday some way out of this situation will be possible,” Nikiforov said.
