The Crimean nature reserve was given to the Kremlin to save it from the “deriban”
Moscow - Simferopol, October 22 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Stamm) - The Council of Ministers of Crimea transferred the Crimean Nature Reserve, the Massandra state enterprise, several state dachas, sanatoriums and children's camps to the administration of the President of the Russian Federation for use. In March, these facilities were nationalized. Before this, they belonged to a similar structure under the President of Ukraine or were in the department of the ministries of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers. The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, explained the transfer of sanatoriums and state dachas by saying that they would be visited by top officials of the state, and they would be maintained at the expense of the federal budget.

More than 10 objects were transferred to the use of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation (UDP). This is the residence “Dubrava-2”, a state dacha on the basis of the former Yusupov Palace in the village of Koreiz (an active museum), the residence “Shater” near the Massandra Palace, as well as residences N5 and N7 in the village of Gaspra and several sanatoriums: “Yuzhny” in Foros, “ Dawns of Ukraine” in Simeiz, “Gurzufsky” and “Alushtinsky”. Previously, these objects were managed by the state administration under the President of Ukraine. Also, the former property of Ukrainian ministries was transferred for free use to the administrative offices of the President of the Russian Federation: the sanatoriums “Nizhnyaya Oreanda”, “Kurpaty”, children’s camps “Raduga” in the village of Peschanoe and “Russia” in Yevpatoria.
“The Yusupov Palace will remain open for tourists,” Sergei Aksenov promised.
The Crimean Nature Reserve was also transferred to the UDP for use. It is the largest in Crimea and occupies about 45 thousand hectares in the south of the peninsula. Chairman of the Ecology and Peace Association Sergei Tarasenko said “To Kommersant”that the reserve used to be under the administration of the President of Ukraine. “I welcome that he is being transferred to the department manager. This is the state level. This will protect the reserve from gray schemes for the allocation of land and deforestation, which were possible,” he believes.
The UDP will also manage the production and agricultural association “Massandra”.
