The Crimean speaker is ready to go to the front instead of his sons
Crimean Speaker Vladimir Konstantinov proposed not to allow back into the country those who left the Russian Federation to evade mobilization.
The head of parliament assured that he is ready to personally defend the country, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Konstantinov, partial mobilization gave the military action a different character - now it is a war of liberation, and it cannot be waged only by the army when the people of the country, part of which is occupied by the Nazis, continue to remain in a state of peace.
“I can proudly say that Crimeans responded to the announcement of partial mobilization with understanding and a sense of duty,” noted the head of the Crimean parliament. – Of course, there were some hiccups and mistakes on the part of the military registration and enlistment offices. If they are corrected on time, all this can be understood and explained. What cannot be explained is attempts to evade mobilization.
However, when people flee abroad from her, I think that the most important thing is not to let her back. Then in such an escape one can even see a positive moment: let only those who are ready to defend it, who do not have a spare homeland, remain in our country. In such a country it will be both more pleasant and safer for us to live. Mobilization is not just a call. This is a different attitude of the whole society to what is happening, an awareness of the scale of the challenge that is being thrown at Russia. Not Ukraine. She is only a consumable material in the hands of those who intend to destroy us.”
Konstantinov assured that he was personally ready, like members of the Presidium of the State Council and deputies, to stand up for the defense of the country and take part in military operations.
Let us note that only the head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, publicly announced the mobilization of his son to the RF Armed Forces. Konstantinov has two sons of suitable age for mobilization, but there were no reports of their conscription.
