Crimean TV presenter: We don’t need a stream of poor tourists with their lard
Simferopol, July 01 (Navigator, Viktor Orlov) – The multimillion-dollar flow of tourists recorded during the Ukrainian status of Crimea is not an indispensable condition for the success of the season, TV presenter Vladimir Andronaki believes.

“Well, in past years, millions of poor people poured into Crimea with their lard and sausage - so what? I'm not talking about luxury holidays. I’m talking about a vacation for the mass tourist who is able to pay for housing, food, and entertainment. The fact that we are crushing nature and the coast by millions is a dangerous thing. The fact that those who want to relax without spending money turn their vacation into a communal hustle and bustle, leaving behind mountains of garbage - lowers our resort to a marginal level. VIP boarding houses with their luxury only emphasize the disgusting contrast. Why is the success of the season when the grimy face of a drunken holidaymaker peeks out from every hole and every hut on the South Coast? Why do we need this “brilliance and poverty”?” – Andronaki wrote on Facebook.
“I’m not talking about war on palaces, I’m talking about war on huts, shalmans, fences and other abominations that have disfigured the coast. We must resolutely raise the lower bar to a decent level. This cannot be done without some reduction in the number of tourists. And very good! “- says the TV presenter.
“This year, thanks to the decline in the number of tourists, the forests and mountains, the air, the sea coast, and the infrastructure of the republic, which cannot cope with the previous human and transport flows, will have a rest.
It is clear that two or three million tourists will visit Crimea this year. And that's enough for now. And then we'll see.
By the way, as for the poor, let them rest peacefully in nature in the vicinity of their city or village. There are also beautiful places there in their own way. Know your land! And learn to relax culturally!” – suggests Andronaki.
