Simferopol, November 26 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – Crimean youths will be called up for military service in the Russian army from April 1, 2015.

This was stated at a press conference in Simferopol by the head of the department for training and conscription of citizens for military service of the military commissariat of the Republic of Crimea, Vadim Meshalkin.

At the same time, during the first conscription, Crimeans will be sent to serve in the Black Sea Fleet and other parts of the peninsula.

“For the first year, Crimeans will serve on the territory of the peninsula, and from the next campaign in 2016, young people will be distributed to different regions of Russia,” Meshalkin clarified.
