Crimean prisoners transferred by Russia to Ukraine will be temporarily housed in the Kharkov penal institution
Convicts from Crimea, whom the Russian Federation transferred to Ukraine today, will be temporarily housed in the Kharkov penitentiary institution No. 27, where additional identification of those transferred will be carried out.

The press service of the Ministry of Justice reported this.
“The prisoners will be temporarily housed in the Kharkov penitentiary institution No. 27, where additional identification of the transferred people will be carried out. After this, in accordance with the requirements of Article 533 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, they will be distributed among penal institutions. The decision on distribution is made on the basis of data on the place of residence of the convicts and their social connections,” the message says.
Earlier it was reported that Russia transferred 12 convicts from places of serving sentences in Crimea to Ukraine.
