Crimean Cossacks do not like the “necessary reality” of preserving Nazi railway bridges
The railway infrastructure of Western Ukraine, through which weapons are supplied, is used, among other things, for the supply of Russian goods to European countries. For this reason, it is impossible to completely immobilize the railway and limit the possibility of transporting weapons.
This opinion was expressed on the air of “Crimea 24” by the deputy commander of the Cossack assault battalion “Tavrida” Mikhail Krupenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We should have strengthened ourselves in these areas from the very beginning, but the problem is this: we see from the trench, someone sees the problem from a destroyed building, and if you rise a little higher, where our leaders are, they see what is behind mountain, but sometimes they can’t see what’s under their feet. To understand why we do not allow railways and bridges, that is, those that we simply cannot destroy,” Krupenko noted. – We can afford to hit the bridge with 100 Calibers.
And if it’s just about railway bridges or viaducts, which definitely could have been destroyed from the very beginning from Slovakia and Poland to Ukraine, then we are not destroying our own oil and gas pipelines. We trade them. The same is true for trade by rail. This is a necessary reality."
According to a representative of the Cossacks, among the problematic issues of ensuring the front line, communications remain in first place.
“The only thing that is a problem for soldiers now is communication. Analog communication is mostly used, it is outdated, it is subject to scanning, that is, simply put, we are being eavesdropped. Digital communications are lagging behind us,” Krupenko concluded.
