Crimean supermarkets need 2 months to reorient to supplies from the Russian Federation
Crimean supermarkets need about 2 months to reorient to supplies from mainland Russia of goods that can now not be purchased in the Kherson region.
Tatyana Pikalova, commercial director of the Yabloko retail chain, stated this on the air of the talk show “Everything as it is.”

“Right now we have enough goods. But we know very well that there was not enough beef in Crimea. We imported it from Ukraine, from the Kherson region. Vegetables are the same. We import many from the Kherson region. All entrepreneurs and farmers knew in advance that something was planned and brought in some goods. But, sooner or later, they will be washed out. And end.
About 2 months will be enough. We need to conclude new contracts.
Sooner or later the border will be closed anyway. Customs will work,” Pikalova said, recalling that from January 1, the preferential trade regime with Ukraine will end.
