Crimean borrowers of Privatbank will have to repay their loans - the new authorities will not forgive them
Simferopol, May 12 (Navigator, Kirill Boyarin) – From today, Crimeans who took out a loan from Privatbank can repay the debt at branches of the Russian National Commercial Bank. This was reported by the Crimean Depositors Protection Fund.
Thus, according to the decision of the Central District Court of Simferopol, the Depositor Protection Fund received trust management of the rights of claims on loans and property of Privatbank in Crimea.

“The closure of Privatbank branches in Crimea does not entail the automatic termination of clients’ obligations to the bank on loans, nor does it entail the release of the bank from obligations to clients on deposits and other funds raised,” the Depositor Protection Fund reported.
At the same time, in order to avoid queues, borrowers are asked to pre-agreed a time for a visit to RNKB by calling (0652) 788-196.
