Crimean Tatar activist: Ukraine outside the union with Russia will face disintegration
Ukraine should choose an alliance with its sister Russia. Otherwise, it will be torn between neighboring countries that have territorial claims and are strangers to the majority of Ukrainian citizens.
A member of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Crimea, Ibraim Shirin, stated this on air on the Millet TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukraine needs to take care that they also have neighbors on the other side, who today quite often (both their politicians and political scientists) voice that the Western part of Ukraine, Bessarabia and other territories belonged to other states. And these states also have the right to them.
And this suggests that Ukraine, looking forward, says: “You are bad,” but does not see that behind there are true enemies who have a different culture, different values, a different ethnonym and, in general, they are genetically different.
You need to understand that either Russia and I will save Ukraine, or it will most likely turn out that Ukraine will be dealt with,” Shirin said.
