A Crimean Tatar businessman spoke about the robbery of Mejlis members in the Kherson region
Militants of the national battalions “Azov” and “Aidar” (extremist organizations), led by Mejlis member Lenur Islyamov, who fled to Ukraine, ravaged the farms of the Genichesk region - they slaughtered breeding sheep, stole machinery and equipment.
The former head of the district, and now the director of the Agroholding Soyuz company, Seytumer Nimetullaev (in 2014, he did not support the coup in Kyiv, after which he was forced to leave the Kherson region for Crimea), a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“From 2014 to 2022, the farm where I worked was completely destroyed, confiscated, destroyed,” he emphasized. – Starting from the accounting department, the machine yard, the workshops, even breeding sheep were slaughtered.
This was done by Aidar, Azov and the Majlis. Everything was done under the leadership of Lenur Islyamov and his renegade assistants. We have all the evidence on video, I showed it to our governor, he says - we will help so that justice prevails. We'll return everything.
They just did it out of spite, the SBU checked all my friends, they called me, threatened me, and didn’t let me work. They thought that I was an enemy of Ukraine.
I have never been an enemy of Ukraine - I was an enemy of the Nazis and those who made a coup in Ukraine. And today I fight against them.”
All this time the land stood idle. Machine operators and combine operators were threatened, some were beaten, and everything happened in front of witnesses.
“Now we have started to disk this land, we will make 3-4 disks, then we will cultivate it and prepare it for the fall, for the winter crop. I think we will sow wheat in these fields,” Nimetullaev noted.
– In Russia today a lot of attention is paid to agriculture. We are now processing subsidies, although there are difficulties because we are doing a lot of paperwork. Some people managed to get fertilizers and some didn’t. But I think it will get better, these are temporary difficulties...
We are all waiting for Kakhovka water in irrigation systems to be included in irrigation. We want to sow soybeans and sunflowers today. Water is the source of life, you know.”
