This was reported by news department journalist Shevket Namatullaev.
According to him, on Wednesday the channel’s management received a letter from the Center for Countering Extremism, which said that the channel was inciting discord and whipping up anti-Russian sentiments.
“The Office of the Reskomnadzor for Crimea and Sevastopol informed the Ministry of Internal Affairs that ATR “persistently raises the idea of possible repressions on national and religious grounds, contributes to the formation of anti-Russian public opinion, deliberately incites distrust in the authorities and their actions among the Crimean Tatars, which indirectly poses a threat to extremist activities." On this basis, ATP was required to provide all title documents and a list of persons officially employed by the TV channel,” the journalist noted.
Let us remind you that the owner of the TV channel is the Crimean Tatar businessman Lenur Islyamov, who held the position of Deputy Prime Minister of the republic in April-May of this year.
