Crimean TV: Graduates of military universities are helpless in the Northern Military District - they were taught a completely different war
The system of training officers in higher military educational institutions of Russia is outdated and does not meet the requirements of modern combat. Graduate lieutenants know neither the tactics of storming buildings, nor aiming artillery, nor controlling UAVs, which is simply unacceptable.
A combat veteran, instructor in combat training and tactical medicine with the call sign “Duldurga” stated this on the air of “Crimea24,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There are a lot of problems, starting with UAVs and control,” he noted. - Management is the main thing now that needs to be modernized in our troops.
This will happen if our higher military educational institutions change the training program for our officers.
At the moment, today I literally trained nine lieutenants - Moscow, NVKU (Novosibirsk Higher Military Command School). To be honest, I’m very, very dissatisfied.
The war now is not Chechnya or Afghanistan. I understand that someone in leadership there should perhaps sit and rise to the rank, but it’s time to let the youth move forward, namely as teachers who have gone through something, who have gone through this special operation and have seen everything that is happening there, and how it should take place".
“I say right away: if a cadet does not know how to control a UAV, this is very bad, if a cadet does not know how to basicly aim artillery, this is bad. But he does not need to know strength of materials and higher mathematics, although it is clear that this is necessary.
I train people in various fields, ranging from terrorist defense, volunteers and, among other things, instructors. I cook, among other things, because there are a lot of shortcomings.
They provide such knowledge, I’m not saying that some are worse, some are better, but the main language that you need to have, the topics that need to be developed, they don’t exist.
Because if you give the basic basics to people here, they will feel confident there, at the forefront.
I always explain to them: guys, now your task is to assimilate what they are now giving you.
Many do not even have a superficial understanding of what it is to storm a trench, storm a building or a forest belt. Let there be at least this minimum, because if there is a bone, the meat will grow.
And, if they manage you correctly, then they give you the knowledge that you should receive, you will receive it. Moreover, war reveals a person.”
