A Crimean Tatar in Ukraine was accused of treason and kept in a cage for killers
The Crimean Tatar was detained in Kherson and sent to Kyiv for trial, accused of high treason for living and working in Crimea.
Video of the detainee on his page in Facebook published by Ukrainian lawyer Valentin Rybin, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Farukh Kamalov, a Crimean Tatar, accused by the authorities of treason for remaining to live and work in Crimea! This is how Ukraine treats the Crimean Tatars in real life, not in words!” – the lawyer commented on the video.
At the same time, the detainee was denied the opportunity to eat and was kept in a cage with his hands shackled.
“In the Dnieper court of Kyiv, a young man walks back and forth in a cage for killers and in handcuffs (in a cage and in handcuffs!!!). He is waiting for the court hearing to begin. He arrived in a paddy wagon from Kherson, having had dinner last night and being left without breakfast and lunch.
“Are you guys completely crazy? Why are you keeping a man in a cage and handcuffs?” – lawyer Valentin Rybin immediately addresses the convoy and the prosecutor. The process of humanitarian education begins. The lawyer leaves and returns with a burger and coke from the nearest McDonald's. The convoy is falling to pieces - down-at-all! Facebook details lawyer's father Vladimir Rybin.
An hour later, Valentin Rybin finally convinced the court to release Farukh Kamalov from the cage and remove his handcuffs.
“The prosecutor passionately objected, and the head of the convoy began to squabble with the court (the game is not scared), but was reasoned with. Lawyer Valentin Rybin filed a petition for an investigation into starvation torture against his client. The court decided to consider the issue of entering into the ERDR information about the offense committed by the prosecutor’s office and the escort in the deliberation room,” added the father of lawyer Farukh Kamalov.
