The conversation, in particular, focused on work in the field of industrial import substitution, including the production of components for Russian helicopters.

“They talked about the need to transfer production from Ukraine here to us - we have the Reduktor-PM enterprise,” Basargin gave an example. – We produce the entire helicopter transmission. Last year, at the beginning of the year, we launched a new production facility, and we are investing.” The Russian engine will be created thanks to the backlog of the domestic PD-14″ engine.

The newspaper also notes that the head of the Perm region volunteered to “build all generation in Crimea at the expense of our enterprises - build without any “General Electrics”, “Siemens” and so on.”

“There are opportunities for this in the region - generating capacities have been built: turbogenerators for 25 megawatts, plus there are new developments for 32 megawatts,” RG reports the words of the Perm leader.

“So you fit into our program for the development of Crimea, and that’s it. The funds are there, allocated, they are guaranteed,” the Russian leader approved these intentions, advising them to work in this area together with the government.

In turn, Basargin assured that it will be possible to “completely master” the program for Crimea - the region’s authorities “have discussed the production of generators with both the Iskra NPO and the Perm Motor Plant.”
