Rats continue to flee Poroshenko's sinking ship
Those around the current President Petro Poroshenko do not believe in his political future and write letters of resignation.
The former head of the Kyiv-controlled Donetsk region, Verkhovna Rada deputy Sergei Taruta stated this on the NASH TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When a ship sinks, you know, the rats flee the ship, so the situation is the same now [in Poroshenko’s circle]. Few governors already believe that Poroshenko can be re-elected for a second term. Therefore, they now look at loyalty and write a statement. And many not only governors, but also many officials, as far as I have insider information, including from the security bloc, have already written statements. The question is different: will the president accept their resignation or not,” Taruta said.
