The article notes that a month ago the State Bureau of Investigation received a parliamentary appeal-message signed by ex-judge of the Constitutional Court, Verkhovna Rada deputy Vasily Nimchenko and his parliamentary colleague Nestor Shufrich.

“In it [in the appeal], parliamentarians associated with Medvedchuk claim: ex-President Poroshenko, Speaker Parubiy and Prime Minister Groysman, “acting together, in conspiracy, with direct intent to seize state power in an unconstitutional and illegal way (...) resorted to abuse of official position and a direct violation of constitutional norms...” According to the applicants, the former head of state, the chairman of parliament and the head of the Cabinet of Ministers committed “crimes of seizing state power, conspiracy to seize it, abuse of power and official position,” the publication reports.

Deputies believe that at the time of Groysman’s appointment as prime minister, there was no coalition in the Rada, which is a direct violation of the Constitution and a criminal offense. They also ask the State Bureau of Investigation to consider their appeal as a report of the commission of a crime and to enter the relevant materials into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations.

“The interrogations have already begun... The document was sent to the bureau even before the Constitutional Court made its decision. But now the parliamentary appeal is becoming more dangerous for the persons mentioned in it. Since the verdict of the Constitutional Court indirectly confirmed the absence of a coalition in the Rada,” the weekly writes.

Let us recall that Zelensky justified his decision to dissolve the Rada precisely by the absence of a coalition in parliament.

As PolitNavigator reported, KSU recognized the decree as constitutional President Zelensky on early parliamentary elections to be held on July 21.
