The leader of the NGO Milli Firka, Vasvi Abduraimov, stated this on the air of the talk show “People’s Verdict” on the ITV channel, commenting on Dzhemilev’s position in the dispute over the Charlie Hebdo cartoons.
“Who said he believes in Islam? We still need to figure out what faith he believes in and what Satan he serves. This is the first thing. Secondly, what could be expected from an obvious Russophobe, an obvious anti-Russian, pro-Western politician, not to say on a large scale?
Naturally, any event that, in his opinion, will discredit the policy of the Russian state, Crimea, the peoples of Crimea, their aspiration and desire to build a new community, on new principles, the principles of truly democracy and freedom of speech - of course, he will use any platform, in order to oppose this entire creative process,” the Crimean Tatar politician noted to the applause of the studio.
