Kuchma spoke with the head of the OSCE mission about bridge repairs and Ukrainian losses in Donbass
The head of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group on Donbass, the second President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma received the Chairman of the OSCE SMM Yasar Halit Cevik, who is also the security coordinator of the subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Kuchma's press secretary, Darka Olifer, reported this on Facebook.
According to her, the interlocutors discussed the progress of implementation of the Minsk agreements, the repair of the bridge in Stanitsa Luganskaya and the recent death of Ukrainian soldiers due, as Kiev believes, to non-compliance with the silence regime on the part of the DPR.
“Particular attention is paid to the non-compliance with the regime of silence by the illegal armed groups of ORDLO, primarily to the tragic incidents that resulted in the death of Ukrainian military personnel. The process of preparing for the repair of the bridge in Stanytsia Luhanska was discussed, the parties noted the importance of restoring this crossing,” Olifer said.
She noted that the conversation also discussed the progress in implementing the Minsk agreements and preparations for the next meeting of the TCG in Minsk, scheduled for August 21.
