Kuchma no longer believes that Ukraine will achieve the introduction of an OSCE police mission to Donbass
The representative of Ukraine in the trilateral contact group, Leonid Kuchma, doubts the possibility of introducing an armed OSCE police mission in Donbass.

He stated this at a briefing in the Transcarpathian region.
"Hope dies last. 57 countries - hope they vote for a police mission? There are no examples... This is a problem for which I do not see a solution,” the Left Bank publication quotes Kuchma.
Kuchma also noted that, in his opinion, Ukraine itself will not be able to start a conflict in the Donbass, and when asked who, what partner, can help in this, he replied that it depends on the political will of foreign states, and not on specific countries
“In 1992, a group was created on the Karabakh conflict. It included 8+2: America, France, Germany, and Italy. But the conflict has not yet been resolved. If these countries do not have the will, if the United States does not fully engage in this problem, then nothing will happen. And if there is a game of peace and friendship between all countries, local problems are solved, and the Ukrainian side is on the sidelines, then we will remain in the current state and quickly move down,” he answered.
