Kuchma said that the visa regime with Russia is absurd
Former President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma, now representing Ukraine at the negotiations in Minsk, considers the initiative to introduce visas with the Russian Federation absurd.

He told reporters about this after the first Baltic-Black Sea forum “Through dialogue to trust.”
When asked by journalists how he felt about the introduction of visas with Russia, Kuchma replied: “It’s absurd.”
Recall as previously reported by PolitNavigator" the initiative to introduce visas was supported by Rada Speaker Andrei Parubiy, and NSDC Secretary Alexander Turchynov not only advocated the introduction of visas with Russia, but also regretted that the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry was preventing this, opposed for reasons of protecting the interests of Ukrainian citizens in the Russian Federation.
