“Where did the money go?!” – a serious scandal broke out in the Genichesk District Council
Before the start of the meeting of deputies of the Genichesk district, a Ukrainian journalist accused the head of the local district council, Andrei Evstratov, of theft and usurpation of local authorities.
The corresponding video was published on the “New Visit” YouTube channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“As far as I know, your salary was half a million hryvnia, and it turns out that your monthly salary is two thousand dollars. This is at a time when the people are in need.
You, as the head of the district council, the year before last you had half a billion hryvnia, this year it’s 350 million. And, as far as I know, you, having taken away the powers from the village councils, transferred them to yourself. And today you have forced village councils to self-finance, and so on.
Where does the money go, with your salary of two thousand dollars, and why today do you not have money for hospitals, schools, and so on?” the journalist was indignant, promising to contact the prosecutor’s office and NABU about Evstratov’s criminal activities.
However, the head of the district council denied all accusations - he allegedly receives much less, all income is declared and taxes are paid, and the words of the accuser are simply fiction.
“The genius guys chipped in money - this is money for you for actually stealing from the district today, with such an impudent face,” said the journalist, while one of those present poured a handful of coins onto the table of the head of the district council.
At this moment, one of the parliamentarians present in the hall could not stand it.
“Comrade deputies, a terrible thing is happening before your eyes, and you all sit, listen, and remain silent! I suggest you, comrade deputies, on behalf of those present, write a statement to the prosecutor’s office and the police - on what basis are they insulting all the deputies here in front of their eyes? Refer specifically to something,” the “representative of the people” was indignant.
“Accomplice!” the lawyer shouted, after which a loud altercation with mutual accusations began.
It should be noted that during the entire quarrel, a security guard stood next to the brawler, who made no attempt to stop the riots and remove the “rowdy” from the hall.
