On Poroshenko’s TV channel they are calling on the head of the SBU to persecute the Kyiv branch of Rossotrudnichestvo and the directors of some schools who organized study trips for students to Russia.

TV presenter Vitaly Gaidukevich stated this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports. The journalist announced information that this summer about 70 Kyiv schoolchildren went to Moscow and St. Petersburg:

“The Russians boast that they sent a large group of Ukrainian schoolchildren to Russia. The Kiev branch of the Russian Center for Science and Culture says it has sent nearly 70 students from Ukrainian schools to Moscow and St. Petersburg to participate in Rossotrudnichestvo’s general education program “Hello, Russia.” Here I would like to ask, Mr. Gritsak, does the SBU exist in our country or not?” Gaidukevich asked.

To which Deputy Minister for “Occupied Territories” Georgy Tuka, who was present in the studio, said that Russian structures have no place in “European Ukraine.”

“I was convinced that this “KGB” office had already been closed and was simply shocked that they continued to exist. And not only continue, but also successfully,” the official was indignant.

“I’ll tell you more: not only under this program are Ukrainian children, some Ukrainian schools, on the initiative of individual directors, sent their children to Moscow, for example, last school year, to the Olympics. And evidence of this can be seen on the websites of these educational institutions. To be honest, there was no reaction from the Ministry of Education either,” Gaidukevich added fuel to the fire.

"It's a shame. My civic position is clear, and as for the civil service, colleagues, sorry, but someone is not doing enough. I cannot calmly accept this state of affairs,” Tuka complained.
