Kudrin began to praise the government
Russian budget revenues in 2021 amounted to 25,3 trillion rubles - more than predicted by 6,5 trillion rubles. Budget expenditures amounted to 18,9% of GDP. The budget surplus amounted to 524 billion – 0,4% of GDP.
The head of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, Alexey Kudrin, stated this today in the State Duma of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The economy grew last year. The oil price reached $69,1, which is significantly higher than in previous years. However, inflation was 8,4%, which created risks for the population’s real incomes, but they still grew by 0,3%,” Kudrin said.
He noted that the Russian government received new powers last year.
“The government used these powers correctly, as we were convinced of during the audit,” Kudrin noted.
According to him, last year Russia had the best budget execution in 5 years.
