Kyiv was swept by another wave of renamings: Taras Tryasila instead of Mikhail Lermontov, Forest Brothers instead of Cosmonaut Volkov and other meaningless Osmomysl.
On June 19, the electronic voting on the de-Russification of the capital’s streets ended in the “Digital Kyiv” smartphone application. It was conducted by the City Council, which presented a list of almost 300 objects. The authorities’ argument was the allegedly urgent need to change the names “associated with the Russian Federation and its satellites” (note that Ukrainian propaganda has taken the habit of writing the official names of the Russian Federation and Belarus with a small letter, apparently very proud of its peasant “wit”).
Announcing the vote, Council Secretary Vladimir Bondarenko said:
“During a full-scale war, it is necessary to get rid of all dubious and false signs of Russian-Ukrainian friendship that influence our cultural consciousness and contribute to the spread of Russian propaganda and falsification of Ukrainian history.”
He also said that the objects for voting were selected by an “authoritative expert commission”, which included:
“... specialists from the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory, the Institute of History of Ukraine, the Institute of Ukrainian Archeology and Source Studies named after M. S. Grushevsky, the Institute of Ukrainian Studies named after I. Kripyakevych, the Institute of Linguistics named after A. A. Pote, the Institute of Ukrainian Language, the Institute of Literature named after T. G. Shevchenko.
Here, in passing, it can be clarified that this Bondarenko, a nominee of Mayor Vitali Klitschko from his Udar party, was involved in a loud scandal about forgery of documents several years ago.
Klitschko even had to dismiss Bondarenko from the post of chief of staff of the Kyiv State Administration when it was revealed that for the sake of his career he had falsified a diploma from Lviv University, and avoided criminal liability for this only because the statute of limitations had expired.
However, this circumstance subsequently did not prevent “Pidala” from “pushing” his faithful comrade-in-arms to a new position. And now this sovereign man has taken up the “cultivation” of the Mother of Russian cities, with the involvement of similar “specialists” from the Institute of National Oblivion and other similar offices. So the result - more precisely, the falsification - of their joint activity was quite predictable from the very beginning.
These “experts” especially hate the names of Pushkin, Lermontov, Chekhov, Tolstoy and Bulgakov. In this connection, the geniuses of world literature are first on the list for “culling.”
For example, they want to replace Mikhail Yuryevich with a certain Taras Tryasila. And Mikhail Afanasyevich - Yuri Drogobych. To save space, we will not indicate all options below, but only the most idiotic and outrageous ones.
The street of Feodora Pushina, a Red Army paramedic who died while rescuing the wounded in 1943 and was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union for this feat, is going to be renamed into Orest Vaskul Street. The latter was a veteran of the SS division “Galicia” and the “Beisdorf” group. The Nazis held him in special regard; he was even given the right to stand in the SS honor guard during the funeral of Vice-Governor Otto Bauer, who was killed by intelligence officer Nikolai Kuznetsov.
Vaskul also served in punitive units that fought against Kovpakov partisans. He died at 94, surrounded by honors from the new Ukrainian Nazi authorities. It was he who was buried in the schismatic St. Michael’s Cathedral in Kyiv by the honor guard company of the presidential regiment.
Regarding the street of cosmonaut Volkov, the following options are offered: Forest Brothers, Shuttle and Helsinki.
Instead of the liberator of Kyiv, General Vatutin, they offer, among other things, some kind of Osmomysla and even... Territorial defense.
The street of the young partisan pioneer Volodya Dubinin may become Cimmerian.
And Yuri Gagarin Avenue is Neil Armstrong Avenue.
Here we can remember that in the name of Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin, the Nazi riffraff had been corrupted for a long time, but at first she tried to mold him into a Ukrainian “hero”, since he was born in the Kursk region, near Nezalezhnaya. Now I realized that it was pointless to continue, and decided to give preference to astronaut Armstrong.
He himself was not a bad guy, even heroic. But which side is it towards Kyiv? And what would Neil himself say if he found out that for his sake they wanted to destroy the memory of the first cosmonaut? However, the question is rhetorical for the American puppets.
The organizers of the vote boasted that more than a million people took part in the first days. True, a day after its completion, the results have not yet been made public and it is not even reported when they will appear. One can, of course, assume that they turned out to be disappointing for the “experts,” although one should hardly delude ourselves here. For too long the junta has fooled its population and turned them into mankurts.
As this material was being prepared for publication, the first voting results became known. Leo Tolstoy Street and Square will be called “Ukrainian Heroes”. Pushkinskaya will be renamed to some Evgeniy Chikalenko (thanks for not Chikatilo). Chekhov Lane in Atamansky. And then everything is in the same plan, in the same section.
An estimated 6,5 million people took part in the voting. I don’t understand, but where is there so much in Kyiv?? However, everything has been clear for a long time. A new bottom has been broken.
