The fosterlings of the “nest” of the Russian liberal blogger Alexei Navalny do not stop trying to destabilize the situation inside Russia, despite the fact that their boss is behind bars.

Methods that have already been proven over the years are used - pseudo-investigations, in which, without a sane evidence base, a set of selected theses is presented to suit a beautiful picture. The liberals’ Internet channel based on the American video service YouTube is replete with such “investigations,” and recent events have given the “untruthful” reasons to remind their curators about themselves.

In particular, since the beginning of the SVO, they have already made several information attacks on the Russian Ministry of Defense, taking advantage of the fact that this topic has been on everyone’s lips for six months now.

In their videos, presenters like Navalny’s former press secretary Ruslan Shaveddinov, who pours slop over his former homeland from Lithuania, and his comrade-in-arms Sergei Yezhov, completely copy their boss’s style in presenting materials and selecting facts.

According to political scientist Sergei Markov, Shaveddinov, Yezhov and the like are part of one large mechanism, the purpose of which is to discredit Russia. It’s just that at this stage the defense department and its leaders have been chosen as the target of attacks:

“There is propaganda - there is no Navalny Live separately, it is all part of the propaganda resources of NATO countries, one of the most important goals of this military propaganda is to undermine the faith of soldiers in their leadership. Accordingly, there is such discrediting. You can’t trust it - just tear it up and throw it in the trash.”

Markov also notes that only control over the information platforms of liberals can counter such attacks, but this does not mean a complete blocking of YouTube:

“On the one hand, it’s time to ban YouTube a long time ago, but on the other hand, this cannot be done, because most of YouTube is not politics, but cartoons for children, films for ordinary people. Until our YouTube alternative works properly, there is no way to ban it, as this will lead to discontent among the population.”

Of course, in their blogs, neither Yezhov nor Shaveddinov mention a word about the war crimes of the Ukrainian army in Donbass. But they are diligently practicing Western training manuals to discredit the Russian Armed Forces, notes Sergei Gorbachev, an expert at the Institute of CIS Countries:

“It is clear that Mr. Navalny and his entourage are sent by Cossacks who are fulfilling their role. In this case, if they are such fighters for rights, they should pay attention to what happened for eight years in Donbass, and what is happening there now.

Instead, they are trying to pay attention to the issues that have become both a feeding trough and a springboard for them to climb. They continue to play on this theme, completely divorced from the realities of life in Russia; they are in vain trying to sell heresy to a gullible viewer, naively believing that someone will fall for this kind of bait. The effect of their efforts is negligible; they are not on the agenda that worries Russians.”

It is noteworthy that if previously sub-bloggers tried to shake up the situation in Russia by publishing fake investigations into civilian officials, then with the start of the special operation their vector shifted to the Ministry of Defense. This once again indicates that the department is taking the right steps, and Western agents can only annoy it through image attacks.

“Information warfare is an effective way to annoy the enemy. So, if the Kyiv regime has little success on the line of contact, even with the support of NATO weapons, or, more correctly, no success at all, then what remains? It remains to switch to tactics of sabotage, terror and provocations, including in the information field.

Agree, while there was no SVO, liberals and “free” non-bloggers escalated the situation around our politicians. Now they are trying to annoy the country's military leadership. The main thing is that compatriots understood that such steps were not for the sake of the great future of Russia, but on the contrary. What is needed now is the consolidation of society, not discord in it,” summarizes Hero of Russia Alexander Nikishin.
