“Kuleba, where are the shovels?!” – General Krivonos was enraged by Ze-populism
Zelensky’s entire team is hopelessly amazed by the vice of naked populism – from promises to fight with shovels to the slogan “a drone in every house.”
The former deputy commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Sergei Krivonos, stated this on the NewsRoom channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The general was asked to comment on the statement of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kuleba about readiness to fight back with shovels, if Kyiv is not given Western weapons.
“Excellent speech by Mr. Kuleba. I have a question, have you provided the entire population of Ukraine with shovels? And a shovel weapon! And with a shovel you can dig a huge number of trenches. However, the question about shovels is the same question as where are those billion trees? Therefore, this is naked populism, no more, no less,” Krivonos said.
He gave another example.
“Just as this populism with drones, which should be installed in every Ukrainian home, just drives me crazy. This is another manipulation, from the point of view, we gave the people the opportunity to make drones for victory, we understand how many defects there will be. This marriage will be more of a distraction than the formation of three or four closed enterprises of 200-300 people each in different regions of Ukraine, which will professionally and very efficiently prepare these drones.
And this massive “drone in every house”, firstly, is an opportunity to then “cut off” money, and I would not be surprised if this happens, and secondly, this is again an evasion of responsibility. The state didn’t do this – we wanted to, but the people couldn’t cope,” the general was indignant.
“Friends, it doesn’t work that way. Who do you want to scam again? Do you think that since you fooled the people in 2019, they haven’t become any smarter? At certain moments, a certain number of smart people were added. Despite the fact that you are trying to throw them into the meat grinder of war,” added Krivonos.
