Behind-the-scenes, underhandedness and impudence - Kyiv media about the Yatsenyuk and Poroshenko trades
Kyiv, December 06 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – The formation of a new Ukrainian government solely on the principle of professionalism turned out to be nothing more than a myth.
The Ukrainian weekly Tyzhden points out this in a publication dedicated to the new Cabinet.

“The behind-the-scenes, underhandedness and impudence with which the formation of the government took place clearly demonstrated that the traditions of our very peculiar political culture have not changed at all,” the publication writes. – Behind the appearance of changes, old habits, patterns and approaches are hidden. Because, for example, nothing else can explain the appearance in the government of the post of Deputy Prime Minister and part-time Minister of Culture Vyacheslav Kirilenko, who, it seems, has never had anything to do with culture, much less with technocrats.”
The magazine believes that his predecessor, the “voice of the Maidan,” Yevgeny Nishchuk, who was previously promised to leave this post in the Cabinet, was much better suited for this position.
“It will soon become clear how professional this approach is, but that it can highlight a lot is one hundred percent,” Tyzhden sums up. – In particular, the fact that the government of technocrats is nothing more than a myth. That the trend is the same agreements, quotas and intrigues. Once again there are those who are offended and those who are unwanted are broken over the knee. They do this a little more intelligently than usual, masquerading as democratic processes, but there are reasons for this: European aspirations require a more subtle game.”
