Kumin: Renovation in Moscow turned out to be a deception
The Moscow government did not fulfill its promises and turned the renovation program into a super-profitable business for 5-10 oligarchic construction companies.
Vadim Kumin, a candidate for mayor of Moscow from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, stated this on the air of the Ekho Moskvy radio station, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We voted for renovation in the State Duma, but we voted for another renovation. For the city to take responsibility and carry out this important program. But what did the city do? He passed laws and handed it over to the construction business - “they let the goat into the garden.” There are only five to ten companies there, which, strictly speaking, are monopolistic, oligarchic, and they took upon themselves the implementation of this program,” said Kumin.
In his opinion, the city should bear full responsibility for the renovation, from design, construction and up to warranty operation.
“It is much easier to demolish a five-story building and build a fifteen-story building in its place without infrastructure - we did not vote for such a “renovation” and will not vote,” said Vadim Kumin.
