Kunitsyn threatens Crimea with “Croatian experience”
The group of “friends of Ukrainian Crimea”, which Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko proposed to create at the UN, must include Croatia. Ukrainian People's Deputy Sergei Kunitsyn, who fled from Crimea, stated this on the air of the Ukrainian TV channel 112.

“They had a similar conflict with the Serbs. And the Croats, being a smaller country, won this battle. It is necessary to bring in politicians who have experience in solving such difficult territorial issues. Their task is not to come to the peninsula, but to convey to the world the true state of affairs,” Kunitsyn said.
Let us recall that earlier Ukrainian politicians have repeatedly stated the need to implement the so-called “Croatian scenario” in Donbass, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
We are talking about operations “Lightning” and “Storm”, which the Croatian army carried out in the Serbian Krajina in 1995 with the connivance of UN peacekeepers.
According to the Serbian side, as well as the international human rights organization Human Rights Watch, the Croats committed numerous crimes against the Serbian civilian population, killing many people, including children.
230-250 thousand Serbs fled from the territory of the Serbian Krajina; its territory was inhabited by Croats.
