The curator of Ukrainian unconsciousness demands to rename the plant in Kyiv
The odious Ukrainian nationalist, head of the Institute of National Memory Vladimir Vyatrovich demands to rename the Kiev military plant "Artem", named after the Soviet revolutionary, founder of the Donetsk-Krivoy Rog Republic Fedor Sergeev (Artem).
He wrote about this on his blog, commenting on the information that the plant had launched the production of large-caliber artillery shells, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, decommunization of the plant will provide Ukrainian shells with ultra-precision.
“Good news, but I’m sure the shells would have been even more vulnerable to the occupiers if the manufacturing plant had used a different name, and not as the occupier’s cute ear “Artem,” wrote Vyatrovich.
The state joint-stock holding company "Artem" (popularly the "Artem" plant) is located in Kyiv near the Lukyanovskaya metro station. The plant was founded by the Russian Empire in 1892, and in 1896 it was named the Dnieper Machine-Building Plant. From 1901-1917 he began to carry out military orders, and since 1922 the plant was named after the leader of the labor movement F.A. Sergeev (Artem).
