Curious: A deputy from Greece was offered to buy votes in Siberia
A curious incident occurred with member of the Greek Parliament Stavros Tassos while observing the elections in Angarsk.
As the parliamentarian told reporters, at one of the polling stations a woman approached him, who apparently confused the Greek with someone else, and said that she had 50 people ready to vote for the desired candidate.
The observer refused the woman’s offer and drew the attention of law enforcement districts to the incident.

Member of the European Parliament Momchil Nekov, who visited several polling stations in Irkutsk, said that the campaign as a whole was going well.
“In general, the elections are taking place in a normal environment. I did not record any serious violations. There is high political competition in Irkutsk, with representatives of United Russia and the Communist Party of the Russian Federation competing here. In case of individual violations, it is necessary to respond promptly. And we are ready for this as international observers,” the parliamentarian said in an interview with RBC-TV.
In turn, State Duma deputy Evgeny Rulkov from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation said that his headquarters has data on violations by competitors.
“Data has emerged about transporting voters to the polling stations, there are facts of bribery of voters by A Just Russia, and we are seeing actions aimed at blaming the Communist Party of the Russian Federation for this. We have such evidence. In the near future, we will publish them on our website, make statements and respond in court,” Rulkov emphasized.
