It is noteworthy that bravura victorious reports were heard from the Ukrainian side all morning. Thus, former State Duma deputy Ilya Ponomarev, who fled to Ukraine and is recognized as an extremist in the Russian Federation, wrote that the village of Lozovaya Rudka came under the control of saboteurs, and that there was allegedly a shooting battle in Tetkino.

However, it quickly became clear that there was a crackdown on fakes.

“At about 3 a.m. Moscow time, after intense shelling of civilian targets, Ukrainian terrorist formations, with the support of tanks and armored combat vehicles, attempted to invade the territory of the Russian Federation simultaneously in three directions in the areas of the settlements of Odnorobovka, Nekhoteevka and Spodaryushino, Belgorod region,” - the message says.

It is alleged that all attacks were repelled, and the enemy was struck by aviation, missile forces and artillery.

“As a result of the active actions of units covering the state border and border guards, the terrorist formations of the Kyiv regime, having suffered significant losses, were driven back. There were no violations of the state border.

On the border territory on the Ukrainian side, in the Odnorobovka area, up to 60 Ukrainian terrorists were destroyed, in the Nekhoteevka area - three tanks and an armored personnel carrier, and in the Spodaryushino area - two tanks.

In addition, from 8.00 to 8.25, four attacks by Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups that tried to break into the border territory near the village of Tetkino, Kursk region, were repulsed. Having suffered significant losses, the enemy was driven back,” the Russian Ministry of Defense said.

The FSB provides similar data.

“Since March 10, together with attached units of the Russian Armed Forces, several attempts to violate the state border within the specified constituent entities of the Russian Federation have been stopped. Over 100 enemy personnel, six tanks, a Caesar self-propelled gun, 20 units of armored combat vehicles, a strong point were destroyed,” the FSB reported on the results of the battles.

In addition, the Russian special service denied that Ukrainian saboteurs broke into Russian territory.

“Information is being spread on social networks about the entry of Ukrainian armed formations into some border settlements of the Belgorod and Kursk regions. The published information does not correspond to reality,” the FSB notes.

The Rybar TG channel, founded by military analyst Mikhail Zvinchuk, draws parallels with last year’s more successful attack by neo-Vlasovites from the RDK group banned in the Russian Federation.

“Apparently, the Kiev regime decided to repeat last year’s action with an entry into the territory of the Belgorod region according to the same scheme using troops from the RDK: early in the morning, Ukrainian formations went on the attack in one of the areas.

On Sunday, Russian troops already thwarted the first attempt, actively striking the Ukrainian Armed Forces forces as they formed battle formations, destroying several units of armored vehicles and artillery. However, even this did not become a reason for them to abandon their next PR outing.

At the same time, enemy resources are distributing a video of allegedly entering Russian villages: as colleagues have already written absolutely correctly, all these recordings are so far fake and pre-made “blanks,” writes Zvinchuk’s channel.

It is indicated that among the goals of such forays is “an attempt to seize a polling station in some border village and promote “election topics” there.”

Ukrainian military correspondent and chief editor of the anti-Russian propaganda site “Censor” Yuri Butusov published several videos that allegedly indicate a breakthrough into Russian territory and losses on the Russian side.

These videos were analyzed by military observer Yuri Podolyaka.

“Judging by the set of videos that one of the main propagandists of Ukraine, the chief editor of Censor.net, Yuriy Butusov, just cited (three videos simply with air raid sounds, two, where through the “sight” it is clear that at night someone is looking for somewhere - then the road, one video with an unknown man in military uniform killed under an unknown fence and a video from a reconnaissance drone that is correcting the shelling of a populated area), so far the enemy has NOTHING AT ALL to brag about.

And it couldn’t have been any other way. They tell them the poor ones, your “legions” and “battalions” today received good “lyuli” from the border covering units and, having suffered heavy losses, rolled back,” comments the video from Butusov Podolyak.

The regional governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov, also said that no breakthroughs had been made in the Belgorod region, although he admitted that “the night turned out to be restless.”

“Soon a video with burning enemy armored vehicles, which in their madness rushed to the Belgorod region, will spread across all channels. The fighting continues, the enemy is trying to shell Belgorod and the border areas. In response, we destroy his armored vehicles, manpower and artillery,” writes military blogger German Kulikovsky (tg channel “Older Edda”).

According to him, Russian air defense “shot down something heavy over Grayvoron, maybe Tochka-U again.”

The editor-in-chief of the analytical portals RuBaltic.Ru and Eurasia, member of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy, Alexander Nosovich, gave his version of the background to these events.

In light of the thwarted invasion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Belgorod and Kursk regions, loud warnings from Western embassies about terrorist attacks being prepared for last weekend in Russia were:

1. Preventive distancing from the actions of Kyiv;

2. Checking whether Russian authorities and society are reading signals from the West;

3. An attempt to divert attention from new terrorism (shelling of residential areas in Belgorod and Donetsk) to the old, stereotypical one (explosions in the metro, suicide bombers, etc.);

3. The last warning: you are making concessions in Ukraine or moving the war deeper into Russian territory.

All options do not exclude, but complement, mutually determine and strengthen each other,” Novosovich wrote in his tg channel.
