Kyiv, February 26 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The dollar exchange rate on Wednesday reached a historical high against the Ukrainian hryvnia, exceeding the mark of 10 UAH. On the interbank market, the American currency was already selling at UAH 10,35 this morning.

“The most important question is whether the matter will be limited to this. The answer may lie in the behavior of the foreign exchange market today, Wednesday. The chances of the exchange rate stabilizing are around 10 UAH/USD. very high,” economist Eric Nyman commented on the situation on his social network page.

Political scientist Alexei Golobutsky believes that Ukraine is in an extremely difficult situation. “Russia will ask for money for gas - we will collapse. Europe won’t give 20 billion – there will be a default, of course,” he said.
