The course towards Europe brought Ukraine to Africa
Ukraine, while carrying out so-called liberal reforms, is not following the path of European democracy.

Political scientist Ruslan Bortnik said this on air at UkrLife, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports. According to him, if in the case of former countries of the socialist camp that became members of the European Union, the abolition of social guarantees led to an improvement in the standard of living, then in Ukraine everything is happening the other way around.
“People saw that there was a refusal, medicine and education became paid, social benefits and support disappeared, but at the same time they saw that corruption had been eliminated, a new infrastructure had been built, and the quality of the services provided had improved. Therefore, people experienced it painfully, but more tolerantly, because they saw meaning in it. With the abandonment of social standards, we have no new infrastructure, no improvement in the quality of services, no fight against corruption. We are simply gradually, under the slogan of liberal reforms, sliding into Mongolia, into Africa. We unhooked the hook while hanging on the wall and flew down instead of throwing it higher and climbing further. We have an imitation of liberal reforms, which is destroying the traditional social institutions of Ukrainian society,” Bortnyk said.
