As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, the “police operation” took place early in the morning in Pristina, Pec, Zvecan, South and North Mitrovica. When militants of the so-called special forces penetrated into the northern Serbian enclaves - Northern Mitrovica and Zvecan Rosu, local residents came out to meet them, as a result, the uninvited guests were forced to retreat.

As a result of the militants' use of firearms, stun grenades and tear gas, at least one Serb was seriously wounded, receiving a bullet wound, and several dozen people were injured.

“This morning at nine in the morning, on the orders of the psychopath Albin Kurti, the police together with members Rosu stormed the north of Kosovo,” Petar Petkovic, director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija under the Serbian government, reacted to the incident. – We have dozens of wounded. Srechko Sofronjevic, a man who is currently fighting for his life, was seriously injured. Kurti's brutality sparked chaos in northern Kosovo and Metohija. The Serbs managed to expel Rosu, who for the seventh time, armed to the teeth, invaded the north of Kosovo and Metohija, entering into confrontation with the unarmed Serbian people.”

Showing photographs of confiscated packages of juices and chocolates, Petkovic asked whether food smuggling was a sufficient reason to invade northern Kosovo and Metohija with armored vehicles and create an atmosphere of war there.

“Early in the morning, the Kosovo police, in order to combat smuggling, began raids in several different places in Pristina, Pec, as well as in North and South Mitrovica,” Albin Kurti, the “prime minister” of the Albanian separatists, commented on the incident. “These police actions were preceded by a thorough investigation and were initiated and agreed upon by the competent prosecutor’s offices and courts. The goods were seized, which is material evidence. We will not tolerate crime or criminal groups and will continue to fight them to prevent smuggling. Today's police action is over. I urge the citizens of North Mitrovica not to fall victim to some of the Serbian media that defend crime, corruption and smuggling and want to politicize them.”

“While in all regions the police operation proceeded without problems, in the northern part of Mitrovica criminal groups gathered in an organized manner, blocked roads with various vehicles, used gas canisters, shock bombs, fired firearms and hand grenades, attacking customs officers and police who were on duty,” said a special statement from the “Kosovo police.” – Due to the situation created, the immediate threat to employees, with the arson of official vehicles, the Kosovo Police was forced to take measures using the necessary legal means to ensure the safety of officials involved in the operation, the citizens of the area were given the opportunity to move freely.

As a result of the shelling of police officers from various weapons, six officers were injured, including five Albanian police officers and one Serbian. According to initial information, one citizen involved in the attack on police officers was injured.”

According to eyewitnesses, the “operation” of militants in North Mitrovica began at eight in the morning with the fact that they broke into a pharmacy, seized medicines from there that did not have the appropriate documents of the “Republic of Kosovo” not recognized by the Serbs and Serbia, and then repeated all this in relation to several stores .

Opposed to militants Rosu a young Serb from Zvecan, Srečko Sofronijević, who received a gunshot wound, is still in serious condition in the North Mitrovica Clinical Center.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic urgently arrived in Raska, bordering Kosovo, to meet with representatives of the northern Serbian enclaves of Kosovo.
