Kusturica made a sensational statement about the Serbs and Russia
Serbia needs to renounce the former leader of Yugoslavia, Joseph Broz Tito, who once relied on Great Britain.
The famous Serbian director Emir Kusturica, who recently took the position of adviser to the chairman of the Presidium of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik (president of Republika Srpska, part of BiH), stated this in an interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
“I would like to note that Dodik made the right choice, preferring to the West the development of partnerships with the only historical ally of the Serbs - Russia. At the same time, the Serbs, like younger brothers, are sometimes offended that the Russians do not help us much, forgetting that Russia needs to protect over 60 thousand kilometers of the state border,” Kusturica noted.
He also believes that the problem for the Serbs is that for a long time they had an elite corrupted by the West.
“I think the moment has come when Serbia needs to renounce Josip Broz Tito. It makes sense. Because he, maneuvering between Churchill and Stalin, chose the first. Today Russia has significant raw material reserves and a developed economic system. When you come to Moscow, you see not only an original Russian city, but also a large European center.
You cannot defeat Eurasia, you cannot even try to fight it. Trying to fight with Russia means fighting with Eurasia. To summarize, Serbia must clearly decide and finally take the side of Eurasia, since the future of Europe lies there. Europe without Russia will be an old museum where only elderly people will remain,” Kusturica is convinced.
